Speak clearly
Remember, it’s really important to speak in a clear and understandable way — that means loudly and distinctly.
Don’t underestimate the value of warming up your voice before recording.
Watch out for your phone
Before you start recording, switch your phone to airplane mode.
Unwanted Noises
Also watch out for things like tapping on the table, clicking a pen, or foot tapping.
Watch the Shot on the Monitor
We recommend keeping an eye on the shot using the monitor. Check that everyone is in focus and that you're not overlapping in the frame — even when you lean in.
If it looks like someone is out of focus, tap the corresponding face on the camera screen to adjust the focus.
Make Sure Everything Is OK
We recommend pausing the recording briefly after about 15 minutes to check that everything is running smoothly — then resume the recording.
Video Conferencing in a Podcast
Using the mobile stand with a TV, you can connect a guest to your podcast from anywhere in the world via computer.
Use Google Meet or any other video communication app for this purpose.
Laptop on the Table
If you need to have a laptop on the table, make sure it’s not directly in line with the microphone. It can significantly affect the sound quality.
